Ofonama Archibong

Ofonama Archibong is a Renewable Energy Consultant based in Abuja, Nigeria. He works independently, providing advisory services on energy policy, market entry, technical design and project development for clients including private-sector companies, government institutions and development organizations. Prior to his consultancy work, he served as an Advisor for the International Hydrogen Ramp-Up Program (H2Uppp), led by GIZ in Nigeria. He also held a leadership role with USAID’s Power Africa HETA as Chief of Party, working on energy access and capacity-building programs. Among his notable achievements, Mr. Archibong has played a key role in Germany–Nigeria green-hydrogen cooperation, advocating for pilot projects and contributing to policy frameworks that can unlock hydrogen financing in Nigeria. His technical and strategic contributions help bridge the gap between hydrogen innovation and market development in Africa.
