Dr. Chigozie Nweke Eze

Managing Director, Africa Hydrogen Hub (AHH)

Dr. Chigozie Nweke Eze is the Managing Director of the Africa Hydrogen Hub (AHH), a collaborative platform that brings together experts, institutions and stakeholders driving hydrogen development across the African continent. In this role, he convenes cross-sectoral dialogues, shapes stakeholder networks and provides strategic insights that advance Africa’s hydrogen economy through coordination, policy discourse and ideation workshops. Before leading AHH, Dr. Nweke Eze co-founded and leads Integrated Africa Power (IAP), a multi-unit energy and infrastructure firm with offices in Abuja and Bonn. He has also worked as a researcher and consultant on energy transition, mining and infrastructure, advising governments, international organizations and private companies. Dr. Nweke Eze has published influential work on Africa’s role in the global hydrogen economy, including policy thought-collections and strategic frameworks for green hydrogen deployment. His leadership at AHH supports knowledge-sharing, financing innovation and stakeholder alignment — helping to position Africa as a key player in the hydrogen transition.
